Welcome
Hello! Welcome to my capstone! My name is Mai Moua. Currently, I am taking general courses at Saint Paul College to fulfill my general education requirement for the Health Information Technology program. I am taking many courses that are requiring for graduation and significantly important information that I gain from those classes. One of the general education courses that I establish that is very important is "Introduction to communication." The course is instructor by Shelby Reigstad. After taking this class, it has broadened my horizon of communication with diverse community and develops a better relationship with friends and families. In the course, I have learned about many useful techniques and important ways of communication in everyday life.
In this capstone, you will find three important components of the class works that is very important to me, why it is important, and how I will incorporate the information into my life. There are many significant concepts that are very important to me as well.
The three components are:
- Perception and Communication (Wood, 2009, p. 30)
- Listening Effectively (Wood, 2009, p. 77)
- Interview (Wood, 2009, p. 487)
In each of the concepts of communication, I found that these components are important because it affect you every day and one individual deal with it almost every second of their life. Sometime it helps one individual to know how to manage a difficult time by knowing that everyone think differently and act differently.
